After teaching music in some of San Francisco's premier preschools for years, Lane knows a thing or
two about what makes kids bounce, clap and sing along. But, being a rock star, he does it all without
sacrificing musical style. The result? A fun, infectious sound that delights kids and parents alike and
draws comparisons to Dan Zanes and Laurie Berkner.
Lane's entertaining songs cover a range of kid-friendly topics from hugging bugs to driving heavy machinery.
With clever lyrics, fun rhymes and a blend of original tunes, old favorites, forgotten classics and
re-purposed rock songs, the music offers a variety and depth often absent in children's music.
In addition to his group teaching, Lane offers private lessons, performs at fairs, festivals and private events,
and has released a CD of kids' music, Bulldozers & Bugs.
